MARMELO - Brown/Poppy Orange

A sweet botanical illustration from a 40’s flora book filled with instrutive drawings of eadibles and what to cook from them was the starting point for Marmelo, the Portuguese word marmelada (marmelo meaning quince), described a preserve made of quince. This luxurious decorative cushion in velvet and linen adds a elegance to any living room.
Color

The Adam & Viktoria appliqued linen cushions are made at a Portuguese family company, a co-operation that started 15 years ago and continues today. The linen textiles are sourced in Europe where it is grown, harvested, spun, dyed and woven by the world’s finest flax. We choose this linen for its beauty in colours, structure and feel and for the inherent sustainability.

The velvet is piece dyed by hand in our unique colours. The intricate patterns are made of appliqued laser cut velvet and then embroidered directly on the linen fabric. All velvet is dyed in batches, so a slight colour differences may occur

Cushion cases are closed with a hidden zipper.
